More than any other holiday song, it will always be “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” that makes me cry.
I think this song captures that tug at the heart really beautifully. We love the little ones playing by the tree and miss the ones that are not there to see it, don’t we? But, the point of Christmas or any other day is gratitude. Hug each other and treasure the moment, as it’s happening.
And, have yourself a merry little Christmas now.
The World of Before You 
The song, in the context of the movie it was sung in, is melancholy, but hopeful. It’s one of my favorites, too!
For some strange reason, my computer won’t let me open this. I keep getting reference to Quicktime configuration. The bad part is that’s one of my favorite songs.
